Coaches Clinics
are designed for the youth
league baseball coach that wants to get the most out of their coaching
experience. During our 3-hour clinics, we offer professional advice to coaches who want
to maximize their coaching experience. Clinics are $40 per
participant, and group rates are available. We will teach you:
Fundamentals of Baseball.
We will
discuss and illustrate the basic fundamentals of baseball that you should
be teaching your players -- from the
importance of pre-game stretching and warm-up, to how to hold
and throw a ball properly. We will also cover the basics of
hitting, fielding and pitching.
Making Baseball Practice
Time More Efficient & Keeping it Fun.
This is a key
area in helping your players get the most out of their
experience. You have to make sure all of your players are
involved, learning and getting repetitions but most of all,
you have to keep it fun.
How to Handle the Game of
Baseball.
Learn how to develop a
baseball strategy, and a game
plan, so that you can focus on the game.
We will teach
you how to script the game, develop a contingency plan, and
adapt to situations on the fly, so that you can remain focused
on the game.
Organizational Baseball Skills.
This is a key area to making your
baseball coaching
experience more pleasurable. If you can organize for an hour
off the field, then all of the rest of your activities will
fall into place.
Learn techniques that you make your life as a coach a lot
easier. We will discuss how to keep stats, how to make your
phone tree work, and how to utilize the email system.
Rules.
Learn the basic rules of the game from an
experienced staff.
We will
explain key baseball rules and why they exist, then we will open it up
for questions.
