Over 70
college coaches have been invited to
attend. These coaches represent Divisions
I, II, III, NAIA and Junior Colleges.
Professional scouts will also be in
attendance.
Featured
instructors will include Frederick Keys
Manager Tom Lawless, former
Oriole pitcher and current Frederick Keys
Pitching Coach Scott McGregor and
Keys Hitting Coach Moe Hill.
Mount St. Mary’s Head Coach Scott
Thomson and Mars Hill College Head
Coach Dan Taylor will also be
instructing. Former Toronto Blue Jays
pitching instructor Evan Evans
will also be in attendance.
Each player
will receive a free AP Showcase t-shirt
along with 1 free ticket to a Frederick Keys
home game. Programs with full player
information will be given out to all scouts
in attendance.

Showcase Schedule
of Events
Most showcase events are one day
events that can cost up to $400
or more. This AP baseball
showcase will be a 4-day event
featuring professional style
instruction from actual pro
coaches.
Day 1:
Infielders & Outfielders will
meet from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Pitchers and Catchers will meet
from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for
light workouts and evaluation.
Day 2:
Players will meet at same
designated times for skill
station workouts designed to
strengthen their overall game.
Day 3:
Players will be put through a
pro style workout showcasing
their talents for college and
professional scouts.
Day 4:
Players will compete in live
officiated games on the field at
Harry Grove Stadium, home of the
Frederick Keys. |
